Relationship Challenges

Relationships are an essential part of our well-being, yet they can also be a source of stress, conflict, or pain. You or your child may find yourselves struggling with peer relationships, feeling misunderstood at home, or carrying wounds from past experiences that make it hard to feel safe and connected with others. These challenges can arise in many areas of life—whether it’s tension in family dynamics, difficulty navigating friendships at school, conflict in romantic partnerships, or even struggles with communication in the workplace. Over time, these experiences can leave people feeling isolated, unseen, or unsure how to repair broken connections.

In therapy, I offer a safe and compassionate space where both individuals and families can begin to make sense of these patterns together. With children and teens, this often includes play or art interventions to help them express feelings they may not have words for, as well as guidance in navigating peer struggles and family conflicts. For families, I focus on strengthening communication, repairing ruptures, and helping parents and children feel more open and connected to one another. With adults, our work may involve understanding and honoring emotional needs, healing attachment wounds, and finding new ways to create healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

No matter the age or situation, therapy can support you in building relationships that feel stronger, safer, and more nourishing. Together, we will work toward creating openness, trust, and connection—so that your relationships can become a source of support, growth, and belonging rather than stress and disconnection.

Anxiety and Trauma Therapist

With years of experience working in multiple mental health settings—and my own journey through anxiety and trauma—I bring both expertise and personal understanding. This allows me to meet clients with deep empathy and create a compassionate space where clients feel supported.

I believe therapy should be tailored to each person’s unique needs. My work integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support deeper healing and growth. With children and teens, I often incorporate play and art interventions to create a safe and engaging way to express emotions and build skills. By blending these approaches, I aim to provide compassionate, effective care that helps clients of all ages move toward resilience, self-understanding, and lasting change.
